Celebrating Leigh Ann Mike’s Recognition in Geriatric Pharmacy

We’re excited to share that Leigh Ann Mike, PharmD was recognized as a Fellow of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (FASCP) at the organization’s annual meeting last weekend. ASCP is the national professional home for pharmacists specializing in the care of older adults, and this recognition reflects Leigh Ann’s ongoing contributions to advancing Age-Friendly pharmacy practice and education.

At the same meeting, Leigh Ann’s Age-Friendly–themed poster received 2nd Place for Top Poster! The project, “Integrating ‘What Matters’ from the Age-Friendly Framework into the Certificate in Geriatric Pharmacy: A Case Study,” highlights how pharmacy education can align with the 4Ms of Age-Friendly Care—What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility—to better serve older adults.

Congratulations to Leigh Ann Mike for these well-deserved honors and for continuing to lead the way in advancing Age-Friendly geriatric pharmacy practice. We are honored to have you as part of our Northwest Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Center’s interprofessional team.
