We have partnered with our 3 Washington state AAAs to deliver educational workshops and address the pressing need for patients, families, care partners, and non-medical service providers to have a clearer understanding of dementia.

Adult Son Comforting Senior Father Suffering With Depression At Home

Dementia Friends – Washington

A global movement working to create dementia-friendly communities with efforts that are changing the way people think, act, and talk about dementia. Dementia Friends training is delivered through viewing a series of online videos or attending a live interactive session, and participants learn about what it is like to live with dementia.

Dealing with Dementia

A workshop developed by the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers, sessions are 4-hour interactive workshops that helps carepartners understand dementia, manage problem behaviors, and most importantly, address the importance of self-care
