Difficult Conversations: Giving a Diagnosis of Dementia


Carolyn Parsey, Ph.D.

Carolyn Parsey, Ph.D., is a neuropsychologist at UW Medicine’s Memory and Brain Wellness Center at Harborview and a UW assistant professor of Neurology.

Dr. Parsey specializes in neuropsychological assessment and diagnosis of neurodegenerative disorders with a specific interest in Alzheimer’s disease. She is committed to providing meaningful care to patients, caregivers and families and s passionate about non-pharmacological interventions for patients with memory disorders.

The NW GWEC acknowledges the Coast Salish peoples of this land, the land
which touches the shared waters of all tribes and bands within the Suquamish, Tulalip and Muckleshoot nations.
