By the end of this lecture, you should be able to:

  • Identify changes in mood, health and psychosocial function commonly experienced by caregivers of persons with dementia.
  • Recognize major triggers and consequences of problem behaviors in persons with dementia and be able to identify strategies for preventing or decreasing these behaviors.
