Dr. Phelan is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine, at the UW School of Medicine. Dr. Phelan leads and directs the NW GWEC.
Michael V. Vitiello, PhD

Co-Director
Dr. Vitiello is a Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the UW School of Medicine. He provides administrative oversight for all NW GWEC activities.
Barbara B. Cochrane, PhD, RN, FAAN

Associate Director
Dr. Cochrane is the de Tornyay Endowed Professor for Healthy Aging and Director of the de Tornyay Center for Healthy Aging at the UW School of Nursing.
Katherine A. Bennett, MD

Geriatric Medicine Training Lead
Dr. Bennett is the Program Director for the UW Geriatric Medicine Fellowship and is an Assistant Professor of Medicine.
Aimee Verrall, MPH
